Obituary of Alan Herbert Jones

Jones: Alan It is with sadness yet peace of heart that we convey Al's battle that he fought with braveness and courage has come to an end and he is now free of pain. Loving husband and best friend of Sue. He was an important part of his step children's lives and was a loving Grandpa Al. He will be sadly missed by his many friends, nieces and nephews and other extended family. Predeceased by his daughter Erica, his brother Stuart and sisters Alana and Sharon. Al was a loyal employee for over 40 years of Fleet Industries. He served his community as a Volunteer Firefighter with Station 1 and as the President of the Fort Erie LaFrance Association. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Friday November 24th from 6-9 pm and on Saturday from 11 am until the time of funeral services for family and close friends in the chapel at 1 o'clock. Everyone is welcome to attend a time of refreshments and fellowship at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 71 on Sunday starting at 2pm where we will gather to celebrate the life of a wonderful man.
