Obituary of Frank Bombicino

Bombicino, Frank (November 17, 1927 - March 3, 2018) Passed away at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Saturday, March 3rd, 2018 in his 91st year. Adoring husband to Trudy (Kalinka) for 60 years. Dearest brother to Joe (Giustina). Special uncle to Sam, Clara and Joanne. Survived by his sisters Maria (Armando), Anna (Lucio), Onorina (late Luigino) and Clara (late Mario), and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Artura (2000), mother Emilia ( 1986) and father, Salvatore (1934). Frank lived in Fort Erie for 64 years, was employed at Horton CBI and was an active member of the Italo-Canadian club for many years. In 2015 Frank moved to Niagara Falls to be closer to his brother and family. Frank's love for the community of Fort Erie never waivered .He knew he would be back home one day. Frank will always be remembered for his quiet and polite demeanour. He was the consummate gentleman to everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by his family, old friends and new friends at Lundy Manor Retirement home. Deepest thanks to Lundy Manor for providing Frank with a home filled with care, compassion and acceptance. BENNER FUNERAL SERVICES, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive their friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 from 4 to 7 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fort Erie. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Niagara.
