Obituary of Felecia Mackechuk

Felecia passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Bridgepoint Hospital in Toronto on Tuesday, Dec. 20th 2016. She is survived by her loving children John and Krista (Shawn Knox), both of Toronto. Proud Grandma of Braeden and Abigail. Also survived by her sister Millie Fredo of Fort Erie, sister-in-law Stephanie (Dolly) Fredo of Burlington, and her nieces and nephews Stephanie, Tim, John, Mike & Cathy and their families. Predeceased by her husband Gord, brother Tony Fredo, and parents John & Teresa Fredo. Felecia experienced a long and rewarding career, enriching the lives of countless children over her 35 year career at Our Lady of Victory and Saint Philomena elementary schools. After retiring in 1993, she enjoyed a long and happy retirement with her husband Gord. They enjoyed their many vacations down south, sitting on the porch of 7 Findlay in the summer, and especially spending time with their grandkids. BENNER FUNERAL SERVICES , 1105 Benner Ave. Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Tuesday Dec. 27th from 2-4 and 7-9. Parish Prayers at 3:30. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. Donations may be made in F elecia's name to Toronto Sick Kids Hospital.
