Obituary of Doris Catharine Ashton

Ashton : Doris Catharine Surrounded by the love of her family, Doris passed away at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on Tuesday March 15th, 2011 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Douglas. Proud mother of George (Cheri), Linda (John) Phillips, Jim (Elaine), Wayne (Tammy) Paul (Kim) and Carol (Larry) Beach. Sadly missed by 14 grandchildren and her great grandchildren. Also survived by her sisters in law Bea Dennahower, Muriel and Bernice Belanger, her other extended family, nephews and nieces including Peg and Arnold Kilpatrick. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters, John Dennahower, Edward Dennahower, Marg Brown, Helen Prosser, Bill Sloat, Whimp Sloat. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Friday March 18th. Funeral Services will be conducted in the Benner Funeral Chapel on Saturday at 11 o’clock. In keeping with the love that Doris had for Suzie and Rosie, the family would appreciate donations be made to the S.P.C.A..
