Obituary of Marilyn Dian Athoe

ATHOE (nee Dick), Marilyn - passed away peacefully, with her friend Joy by her side, on Sunday, December 31, 2017 in her 83rd year. Marilyn was predeceased by her daughter Robin Lee and is the loving mother of Scott Athoe and grandmother of Tyler and Larissa. Dear sister of Donna Lee Kostecki and William Dick. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews and many friends. Benner Funeral Services entrusted with arrangements. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Douglas Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Merilyn did not want a funeral and we have to respect her wishes, however we all need closure and say our goodbyes so this is what we are doing. The girls with the grandmother faces will be having an event honouring her life with family and friends. It is open to everyone who knew Merilyn and would like to join us.
