Obituary of Steven Douglas Kinnaird

Steven passed away surrounded by the love of his family at home on Wednesday June 15th, 2016 at the age of 51. Loving husband of Kim (nee Borth). Proud father of Justin and Mitch. Sadly missed by his father George (Barb) Kinnaird. Cherished brother of Susan (Matt) Kinnaird, Alan (Rosie) Kinnaird, Peggy (Chris) Kinnaird, Tom Kinnaird and brother in law of Krystal (Troy) Lack. Also survived by many nieces and nephew s, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his mother Judy and his brother Tim. Steve began his career with the Niagara Regional Police in 2002 and spent time in many detachments within the Region most recently as a Forensic Detective Constable in St. Catharines. He was an active member of Fort Erie Minor Hockey as both a coach and a referee. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1-3 and 6-9 pm. Services will be held in the Funeral Chapel on Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. If so desired, donations to Fort Erie Minor Hockey or the Niagara Regional Police Benevolent Fund would be appreciated by the family.
