Obituary of Elizabeth Joan Nielsen

NIELSEN, Elizabeth "Betty" - Elizabeth passed away peacefully at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on November 4, 2016 at the age of 80. Proud mother of Tom (Joanne Jackson) Nielsen and Lori (Roy) McCooey Cherished Nana of Clifford, Laura (Steven Hill), and Emily. Sister to Bill (Rosemary) Bews and Jane (Shelley) Sheldon. Sister in law of Isabelle Bews and Betty Glendenning. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her very, very best friend Judy Brooke. Predeceased by her husband Cliff, grandsons Matthew and Thomas, parents William and Ethel Bews, brother Ted, sister Evelyn (Fred), and brother in law David Glendenning. Betty enjoyed her faith in the Lord. Benner Funeral Services 1105 Benner Ave Fort Erie entrusted with funeral arrangements. Visitation will be held Monday, November 7 from 10 am -12 pm with a Memorial Service to follow in the chapel.
