Obituary of Iole Purpura

Purpura: Iole Iole passed away peacefully on January 19th, 2017 at the Douglas Memorial Hospital in Fort Erie in her 104th year. Predeceased by her husband, Martin "Peanuts"Purpura. Loving mother of Bart (Bonnie), Vincent (Lynda), the late Angela Purpura and the late Linda Everts. Cherished mother in law of Bob Everts. She leaves behind her grandchildren Dino (Cheryl), Nick (Helen), Tony, Shari (Dave), Kimberly (Jamie), Daniel, Kristen (Tino) and Kelly with wonderful memories to treasure. Always loved by great grandchildren Bailee (Eric), Ethan, Sebastian, Zed, Kassandra, Jeremy and Sophia. Iole was a great, great grandmother to William and was looking forward to the birth of another great great grandchild soon. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, and her extended family. Predeceased by her sisters Maria and Adele. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 29th from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church on Monday, January 30th at 11 am. Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
