Obituary of Elizabeth Anne O'Connor

Elizabeth O'Connor Surrounded by her family Elizabeth passed away peacefully at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on Wednesday November 23rd, 2016 at the age of 76. She will forever be in the hearts of her sisters Thelma Hickey and Lynda Stouffer as well as her many loving nieces, nephews and their families and wonderful friends. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Catherine Burns (nee Mackay). Brothers Bobby Burns jr. and Alistair Burns. Elizabeth was a retired teacher spending most of her career with the Toronto and Peel Boards of Education. She also enjoyed being a part time actress and was devoted to her family. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Monday November 28th from 11am until the time of services in the Chapel at 12 noon. Interment of her cremated remains and a reception will follow. If so desired, donations to the Cancer Society or the SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
