Obituary of Jerry Vanek

Born Dec 29, 1935 in the Czech Republic, Jerry passed away at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on May 30, 2015. Survived by his daughter Helen and son Peter. He will be fondly remembered by the many friends he leaves behind at the thoroughbred racetracks and dragstrips across the country where he raced his automobile and horses. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday June 10th at 11 am at Greenwood Cemetery (Thompson and Bowen Rd) Fort Erie. Benner Funeral Services, Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements.
