Obituary of Walter Garry Kent

Walter Gary Kent, passed away at the Welland County Hospital on Sunday February 14th, 2010 in his 85th year. Loving husband of Ellen May. Proud father of Norman Gary (Katherine) Kent, Bryan David (Catherine) Kent and Kenneth Blair (Marian) Kent. Cherished grandfather of Nicholas (Katherine), Michelle (Jay), Sandi, Sarah (Michael), Laura, Lori, Gary, Angela (Luke) and great granddaughter Madelyn. Beloved brother of Edwin Louis (Marlene) Kent. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family including his two sisters in law, Catherine (David) Thiel and Jane (Don) Doneff and Larry (Heather) Wilson. Predeceased by his brother William (Margaret) and his sister Caroline (Walter) Gary retired from Brewers Warehousing after nearly 40 years. He was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Anglican Church, a member of Palmer Masonic Lodge #372 A.F. & A.M.. He loved spending time with his family at their cottage in Sauble Beach. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock at St. Paul's Anglican Church. Interment to follow in St. Paul's Cemetery. A Masonic service will be held on Tuesday evening.
