Obituary of James George Thibodeau

THIBODEAU, James - (Jan 6, 1938 - Feb 6, 2015) peacefully passed away after a short but courageous battle with cancer, at the Douglas Memorial Hospital in Fort Erie, Ontario surrounded by the love of his family. Beloved husband of Florence. Jim was also survived by his children Suzanne (Chris), Nicole (Ron) and Luc and his step children, Nancy (Brian), Bonnie (Allan), Bill (Kilby), Rob (Kevin), and Carol Ann (Dave). He will be sadly missed by his 12 loving grandchildren. Jim worked as a hydro lineman in New Brunswick and Ontario and most recently for Hydro One. He was a member of IBEW Local 303. He had a love for spending time with his family, fishing and restoring vintage cars. In keeping with Jim's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. The family will honour his memory in a private memorial gathering. The family extend their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Kamatovic, Dr. Scher and the staff of the Douglas Memorial Hospital for the dignified and compassionate care provided Jim. If so desired, donations to the Douglas Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, to assist the Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated by the family.
