Obituary of Lucia Tummillo

TUMMILLO, Lucia (nee Muro) - Surrounded by her loving family on Thursday February 5th, 2015 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Antonio (2005). Loving mother of Antoniette Saieva (the late Charlie), the late Josephine DiVincenzo (Salvatore), Joseph (Ann), Maria DiMartino (Tolmino) of Stoney Creek, Dina Annibale (Alfonso). Cherished Nonna of Carmen (Cathy), Tony (Chiara), Josie (Sergiy), Steven (Francie), Tony, Lucianna (Brad), Anthony (Emily), Giovanni (Nadia), Merinda (Vince), Gaspare and Anna and she will be lovingly remembered by her 14 great grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Raffaele (Angela Maria), the late Teresa Pennimpede (Vito), the late Antonio (Rosa), the late Vito of Italy, Maria D'Aurizio of Mississauga and sister-in-law of Gelsomino (Nina) Tummillo. Lucia was a dedicated mom, grandmother, nonna and housewife who will be remembered for her fondness of knitting, cooking and family gatherings. Special thanks are extended to the staffs of Maple Park Lodge, Unit C at GNGH and Dr. Scher for their care and compassion shown to Lucia. Benner Funeral Services 1105 Benner Road, Fort Erie, entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Sunday February 8th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 o'clock on Monday February 9th at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church 310 Central Ave., Fort Erie. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fort Erie. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
