Obituary of Margaret Alida Evers

Evers: Margaret Margaret passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday September 15th, 2015 at the age of 90. Predeceased by husbands William DeHeus and Hubert Evers. Cherished mother of Gerry (Ruth) DeHeus. Loving grandmother of Auedrah (DeHeus). Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be fondly remembered by her many wonderful neighbours, her dear friends and the members of the Joyce family. Predeceased by her daughter in law Barb and her siblings. Margaret was an active member of the community, volunteering at Gilmore Lodge and singing with the First Baptist Church Choir and His Signature Singers. Many will recall her love of dancing. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Thursday September 17th from 7-9 pm. Funeral Services will be held at the First Baptist Church (Bertie and Central) in Fort Erie on Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Interment to follow. If so desired, donations to the First Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family. "You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough"
