Obituary of Karen Lorraine Connelly

Connelly: Karen "nee Wilton" It is with extreme heavy hearts that we share the news of Karen Lorraine Connelly's Passing. After battling so courageously with cancer, Buddy took her last breath on May 29th, 2018 with her family by her side. Karen will forever be missed by her devoted husband Stu and her loving children Adam and Morgan (Mike) Fowler. Kaleb and Ella will always remember how much their gramma loved them along with Petey and Molly. Karen is survived by her cherished sister Bonnie (Burt) Clark and brothers David and Tim Wilton along with her nieces Amy (Matt), Nephew Blair (Caitlin). Tami, Sarah, Hunter and Emily McKnight will never forget all the memories with Buddy. Sadly missed by special friend Debbie P. Predeceased by parents George and Gladys Wilton and brother Dennis. Karen's family was #1 to her and she loved each day with them. She loved her word search, Price is Right, softball and sweets. Most of all Karen was devoted to her husband Stu and would make every ball game or hockey game of Adam and Morgan's. They then became as devoted to make it to the next generation of games for Kaleb and Ella. Karen also saw many of Sarah, Hunter and Emily's events which she always treasured. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Thursday May 31st from 3-6 pm. Friends are then invited to attend Bridgewater Golf Course at 7 pm where we will celebrate a wonderful life lived. Words will be spoken at 8 pm followed by a further time of celebration. The family extend their appreciation to Dr. Scher and the wonderful staff at Douglas Memorial Hospital for their outstanding care.
