Obituary of Mo Oi Hong Tong

Tong : Mo Oi Passed away peacefully at the St. Peter's Hospital on November 1st, 2017 one day before his 92nd birthday while surrounded by his family and friends. Beloved husband of the late Yiet Su Tong. Survived by 3 sons, Zhuo Suan Tang (Cui Lian Liu), Jian Xuan Tang (Yu Lian Lei) and Jian Jin Tang (Jean Tang) and 3 daughters, Mei Qin Tang (Qi Zheng Liu), Mei Jin (Chanchin Yu) and Mei Fen. Much loved by his grandsons Ron Yu Tang (Su Lian), Liang Yu (Hai Lian), Henry Tang, Harry Tang, Herman Tang, Liu Ging (Don Tong) granddaughters Pei Yan (Ruan Yong Xi), Li Yan (Zhen Fu Huang), Liu Zhon Fen, Liu Zhon Ie, Danna (Jon Bougie) and Danna Tong Li as well as 8 great grandchildren. Mo Oi and Yiet Su settled in Fort Erie after coming to Canada where they worked with the family in the restaurant business. Those that knew him will remember a kind and gentle man who was respected by his community and family. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on November 28th from 9-11 am and 5-9 pm. Then on November 29th from 1030 am until the 11:30 am at which time Funeral Services will be conducted in the Chapel. Interment to follow in McAffee Cemetery.
