Obituary of Jorge Alfaro Alonzo

ALFARO ALONZO, Jorge - Passed away on July 9, 2018 at Douglas Memorial Hospital at the age of 76. Beloved husband to Elizabeth Alfaro. Devoted Father to Irene Alfaro (Pablo de Leon), Frinee Alfaro (Juan Carlo Maza), Ericka Alfaro (Oscar Osegueda) and Jorge Alfaro Jr. Loving grandfather to Jonatham Maza, Johann Maza, Jorge Maza, Paola de Leon, and Jose Pablo de Leon. Jorge always put his family first and was the greatest husband and father anyone could ask for. A man whom never lost Faith in God and himself, who was filled with hope and courage. He began a journey looking for a safe heaven for his family; and was very proud and thankful to call Canada home. He spent many enjoyable years working at Fleet Industries in Fort Erie. Benner Funeral Services has been entrusted with arrangements. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 13th, 2018 from 1-3pm with a service to follow in the Chapel at 3 o'clock. If desired, memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by his family. Jorge's family would like to thank especially, Dr. Scher and the loving staff at Douglas Memorial Hospital, and the Walker Family Cancer Centre in St. Catharines.
