Obituary of Shirley Kathleen McAteer

McAteer, Shirley (nee?Alexander) Passed away on October 2nd, 2013 with her family by her side at Valley Park Lodge in her 78th year. Beloved wife of the late Harvey (2006) Loving mother of Jason McAteer and Deborah (Brian) Foster. Proud Nana to Kiara, Alexander, and Paige McAteer. Sister of Marion and Norman. She is predeceased by her parents Lyle and Lela, sister Doris and brother Harry. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. A heartfelt thank you to her niece Linda for her special care. Arrangements entrusted to Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave. Fort Erie. The family will receive friends on Sunday October 6th from 2-4 and 7-9 and on Monday October 7th from 2-4, with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Tender Wishes or Make a Wish Foundation.
