Obituary of Dennis Kolpack

Kolpack: Dennis Victor Passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home surrounded by family on April 23, 2017. Born in N. Tonawanda N.Y. on May 7, 1945. Loving husband to Gisela of 50 years in September. Father to both Stefanie (Brett) Traves and Kirsten (Boris) Fijavz who were his pride and joy. Opa to Evelyn and Maiya who filled his heart with such happiness. Predeceased by his parents Emil and Helen, his brothers Emil and Ronald and his in laws Richard and Hilda Hennig. Sadly leaving behind his special bro Charles (Anne) Rittner and sister in law Ursula Richardson. Also Henrietta and Tim. Thought the world of his nephew Adrian (April) Rittner and special nieces and their spouses, Petrina (Bob) Istok, Katie (Marc) Begin, Charity Barbour in B.C. and Sara (Joey) Rittner. Dennie was overcome by the kindness of friends during the past seventeen months. He fought hard to stay with his loved ones who were inspired by his strength and courage and how he kept his sense of humour during these times. A huge thank you to Para Med, Elizabeth and Tanya and PSW Roseanne and Shelly for being there for us. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Tuesday April 25th from 530 until the time of services in the Chapel at 730 p.m.. The Lord is my shepherd Psalm 23. Together in heart til we meet again.
