Obituary of John Alvin Fraser

Fraser; Pastor John On March 16th, 2011 at his late residence in Sherkston, Ontario in his 60th, year. Loving husband and best friend of Cathy (nee Gobel). Devoted father of C.J. (Christina), Chad (Christine), Luke and Jesse. Proud grandfather of Logan, Marissa, Ty and Aubrye. Cherished son of Millie Fraser and brother of Bob Fraser and Cindy (Bob Perkes) Fraser. John will be sadly missed by the members of the Gobel family. His father in law Joe, brother in law Patrick (Cheryl) and sister in law Margaret (Norman) Sisler, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends. Predeceased by his father Burt and his mother in law Pat. John was the Pastor of Falls View Brethren in Christ Church in Niagara Falls. John was devoted to his Faith, Family and Friends. His ongoing mission work allowed him a chance to share these passions with others. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Saturday March 19th from 6-9 and on Sunday from 1-4 & 7-9. Interment will occur at McAffee Cemetery (Thompson Rd. and Niagara River Pkwy) on Monday morning at 10 o’clock followed by a service to celebrate John’s life at the Port Colborne Brethren in Christ Church (10641 Hwy # 3) at 11:30.
