Obituary of Mary Viola Wilson

Wilson: Mary Viola Mary passed away at the Maple Park Lodge on Tuesday Nov. 6th, 2012 at the age of 101. Mary was predeceased by her husband Thomas. Cherished sister of Eileen Nicholson and Evelyn Bradbury. Predeceased by her sister Marion Kelly, her brother Bud Murphy, brothers in law Stanley, Reginald and Frank and sister in law Rose. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews, her large extended family and many loving friends. Mary graduated from the St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Thunder Bay and began working for the Department of Indian Affairs. She came to Fort Erie in 1966 and worked at the Douglas Memorial Hospital until her retirement. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. A service to celebrate Mary’s life will take place in the Benner Funeral Chapel on Saturday Nov. 17th at 2 pm. An opportunity to share stories and enjoy refreshments will follow. If so desired, donations to the Douglas Memorial Hospital Auxiliary or the Fort Erie Palliative Care would be appreciated.
