Obituary of Jack Joseph LeBlanc

Born August 8th, 1918 in Rogersville, New Brunswick, Jack passed away peacefully at his home in Fort Erie on Tuesday July 3rd, 2012 surrounded by the love of his family. Loving husband of Doris (nee Pitre). Cherished father of Janet (Chris) Wiesner , Larry (Catherine) LeBlanc, Ronald LeBlanc, Mary LeBlanc and Lisa LeBlanc. Devoted grandfather of Tim, Crystal, Jamie Ann, Kyle, Emily, Brittany and Danica. Proud great grandfather of Ulrich. Jack is predeceased by his 6 siblings. A wonderful and humble family man, he was an accomplished woodworker, who’s creativity and passion shone through in his work. Jack served in WWII in the Canadian Armed Forces and continued his service upon his return with the Royal Canadian Legion and the Knights of Columbus as a 4th degree Knight. Benner Funeral Services 1105 Benner Ave Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Thursday July 5th, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Parish prayers will be offered at 3:30pm Mass of Christian Burial at St Michael’s Roman Catholic Church on Friday July 6th, at 11am. Cremation to follow. If so desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
