Obituary of Madeline Livingstone Benner

Benner, Madeline Livingstone (nee McComb) Peacefully at PeopleCare Oakcrossing London Ontario on January 14th, surrounded by the love of her daughters, in her 93rd year. Loving wife of the late John Alvin Benner. Cherished mother of Ann Roy (Tom) of London and Kathryn "Kab" (Henry) VanderWielen of Kerwood. Proud grandmother of Bob Benner, Stacey Blaney, Katie Spear, Bill and Claire Roy, as well as four great grandchildren. Sadly missed by sister-in-law Millie Fraser of Sherkston. Predeceased by son Richard Louis (September 2009) and husband John Alvin (October 2009) Madeline was a registered nurse graduating from the General and Marine Hospital Owen Sound 1941. Madeline was forever a nursing professional and held positions at Owen Sound, Oshawa, Welland , Orangeville, and Fort Erie. Benner funeral Services 1105 Benner Ave. Fort Erie entrust with arrangements. Funeral Service will be held in the Benner Funeral Chapel on Wednesday January 19th 2011 at 2:30 with the Reverend Raye Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeway Memorial Cemetery. If so desired donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family in lieu of flowers.
