Obituary of Marilyn Jean Fretz

Marilyn Fretz, passed away surrounded by family in the presence of the Lord at the Port Colborne General Hospital on Thursday May 10th, 2012 in her 77th year. Beloved wife of Hubert Fretz. Loving mother of Kathy (Marc) de Waard, Colleen (Greg) Fidler, Clarke (Heather) Fretz and Jay (Alexa) Fretz. Proud grandmother of Tamara (Adam) Stevenson, Benjamin (Jessica) de Waard, Christel de Waard, Brad (Melissa) Fidler, Lindsay Fidler, Victoria Fidler, Levi Fretz, Caleb Fretz, Hayden Fretz and Ethan Fretz. Cherished great grandmother of Tatum de Waard, Hudson de Waard, Joel Fidler and Owen Fidler. Also survived by her aunts, Ruth Lichtenberger and Evelyn Lichtenberger, her cousins Marlene Winfield, Gladys Schoenwald and Gary (Sharon) Lichtenberger. Marilyn was the dear sister in law of Mim (Ernie) Climenhaga, Kay Steckley, Howard (Jean) Fretz, Lester (Mary) Fretz, Lamar (Eileen) Fretz, Margie Fretz and Kenny (Jill) Fretz. Predeceased by her parents Rufeen and Thelma Lichtenberger. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Monday May 14th from 7-9 and on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9. Funeral Services will be conducted at the Faith Reformed Church (Blackcreek) on Wednesday morning at 10:30. Interment will follow in Bertie Brethren in Christ Church Cemetery.
