Obituary of Susan Joan Balfour

Balfour: Susan (nee Armstrong) Sue passed away at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on Saturday September 28th, 2013 at the age of 82. Predeceased by her husband Robert. Sadly missed by brothers Harrie and Tom and her sister Muriel Lowe as well as their families. Forever remembered by her many friends, especially Lolly Cassleman, Sid, Mark and Andrew Cook who she thought of as family. Predeceased by 7 brothers and sisters. Upon completion of her service with the Canadian Armed Forces, Sue worked as a nursing assistant in Toronto retiring in 1985 after 30 years. She continued her services as an active and proud member of Royal Canadian Legion Br. 71 in Fort Erie. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. Friends and family are welcome to visit on Wednesday October 2nd from 12 noon until a service to celebrate Sue's life that will be held in the Benner Funeral Chapel on at 1 pm. If so desired, donations to the Legion Poppy Fund at Branch 71 would be appreciated by the family.
