Obituary of Pearl Ruth Birks

Pearl passed away unexpectedly while surrounded by her family on November 16th, 2012 in her 88th year. Loving wife of the late Karl (2000). Loving mother of Harry (Karen). Beloved grandmother of Adam Peck. Cherished sister of Gladys Dudley, Barb (Bill) Higgins, Phyllis Hillard, Doreen Wheeler and Ray Clark. Also survived by her sister in law Eileen Jaillot and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her infant daughter Karen, her sister Audrey and brothers Ron and Fred. She will be sadly missed by her canine companion Brie. Pearl lived in Mississauga most of her life. She moved to Fort Erie 4 years ago to be closer to her family. Pearl was a Senior Soldier with the Salvation Army at the Mississauga Temple. She will always be remembered for her devotion to her family and her strong faith in God. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Wednesday November 21st from 10 am until the time of services at 11 am. Interment will take place in Mississauga on Thursday morning. If so desired, donations to the Fort Erie Salvation army would be appreciated by the family.
