Obituary of Joan Kathleen BonEnfant

BonEnfant: Joan Kathleen Joan Kathleen BonEnfant passed away at The Henley House in St. Catharines on April 18th, 2011 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Paul. Proud mother of Lorraine (the late Michael) Hollison, Claire BonEnfant, John BonEnfant, Peter (Janine) BonEnfant and Michele BonEnfant. Loving grandmother of Alyssa (Aaron Soren) Volk and great grandmother of Jackson. Also survived by her sisters, Kathleen and Rosa Sullivan, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by brothers Patrick, Denis and Owen Sullivan. Joan served during WW II with the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force (W.A.A.F.) in England and came to Canada as a war bride in 1946. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Wednesday April 20th at 9:30 am until the time of departure at 10:45 for the Funeral Mass to be held at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church at 11 o’clock. Interment to follow in McAffee Cemetery. The family request, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Niagara.
