Obituary of John Doane Bird

Bird: John "Jack" On Wednesday January 28th, 2015 Jack passed away at Gilmore Lodge in his 96th year. Predeceased by the love his life Shirley and his dear daughter Karen Rhodes. Survived by devoted son Gary (Corinne) and cherished grandchildren Danielle (Nigel),Charity and Kara and great grandchildren Jayden & Teagan Cline and Hannah & Jake Barbour. Jack was a proud WWII veteran and a life member of Ridgeway Legion Br 230 A special Thank You to Dr. Che & all the staff and friends at Gilmore Lodge. Benner Funeral Services 1105 Benner Rd. Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Monday February 2nd, 2015 at 11am with service to follow at 11:30am in the Chapel.
