My sympathies to all my Hanes cousins.
Chuck was one of my "grown-up cousins" who I never got to play with, but he was a source of some great memories for me as a kid.
His love of his dog, Skipper, was like my love for the TV dog, Lassie.
His stories of hunting and fishing were awesome, and his car and boat ignited my first "wow" feelings about neat machines. What a treat when he took me fishing with him in his boat on Lake Erie and to experience the power of the current in the Niagara River.
Thanks, Chuck. You will be missed and not forgotten.

George, Carol Anne, Rosemary, Nora and Susan. I am sorry to hear the news of your lose. Chuck was a great man even though it is a long time since I have seen any of you. I have memories of good years past,. This is a hard time for a family under such circumstances but at this time of year especially. Myself and Ted have you in our thoughts, Sincersly, Isabel
