Obituary of Alexander Doneff

DONEFF, Alexander - Passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital in his 93rd year. He is survived by his brother Donald (Jane) Doneff, and sisters Helen Colman of Calgary, Nora Crerar of Ottawa and Diana Seebach of Fort Erie. Dear father of John (Judy) and Jeff (Diane) and the late Sandra (Cy) Bomhof. Cherished grandfather of Scott Bomhof, Jennifer Wiebe, Roger, Tim, Ron (Kristen) and the late John Doneff. Al was also the proud great-grandfather of Alexander, William & Thomas Bomhof, Matthew & Abby Wiebe, Ashton, Lena, Jordyn and Cole Doneff. He will be fondly remembered by his extended family and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his beloved wife Doris Mae (Chambers) in 1979. Al was the founder of McDonco Machine Limited located here in Fort Erie and he was an avid fisherman and enjoyed flying R.C. airplanes. Special thanks to Niagara EMS and the nurses and staff at GNGH. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, April 25th at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow and then interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
