Obituary of Michael Carroll
We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Michael Kevin Carroll, on his 73rd birthday and surrounded by the love of his family. He fought a long battle with pancreatic & peritoneal cancer. Michael Kevin Carroll, loving husband of Bennett Carroll (Butt), proud father of Madonna and Cassie (Jason Thomerson) and cherished papa of Jasmine Carroll (Nathan Bouvier), Nicholas Trott, Benjamin Trott and Caleigh Thomerson. He will be sadly missed by his brothers and sister, his large extended family whom are local, in Newfoundland and all over the world. Mike was an appliance technician working for Sears for over 32 years. He was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in St. Catharines and served as a Past Grand Knight with Council 1394 3rd Degree of the Knights of Columbus, he was a past Faithful Navigator of the 4th degree 0864 Knights of Columbus and past Grand Knight at St Mary's of the Assumption Council 8378 Knights of Columbus. He valued time with his family and friends and found much peace golfing, fishing and playing cards. Many thanks to his caregivers, friends and extended family who supported him during his journey with Cancer, your visits helped to make the times a bit less difficult.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church (169 St. Paul Crescent) in St. Catharines on Tuesday January 7th at 11 am.
