Obituary of Sylvia Petteys

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Sylvia Petteys. Sylvia passed away with her family by her side on Saturday November 9, 2024 in her 84th year. Mourning Sylvia's loss is her loving husband of 65 years LeRoy Petteys, her daughters Marcia (Bill) Whipps, Annette (Scott) Thompson, and Stacy (Dave) Overholt. Her grandchildren Brad & Amanda Whipps, Mathew & Adam Thompson, Nathan, Aaron, Quinlyn, & Owen Overholt, as well as 21 great grandchildren.

Sylvia was a beautiful lady with a huge heart and a robust sense of humor.

She was fiercely adored by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and was so proud of each and everyone of them.

Sylvia was a caring friend and beloved by all who knew her or even acquainted with.

Cremation to take place with a celebration of life to follow at a later date.
