My husband Don and I regret learning too late that Jeannine had passed away, unfortunatly missing her life celebration. Her legacy lives on, having invested herself into many lives she served, for 10 years with South Niagara Life Ministries(2002 - 2012). We extend our hearts, love and peace to her family and friends. Don & Martha Beroud

Jean and I met through working at South Niagara Life Ministries(A counselling Centre in Fort Erie Ontario). Jean was a loving friend as well as a help and counselor and comforter to those she counseled. Prayers for comfort and peace to her family members who will greatly miss her.

I met Jean two and a half years ago and immediately she welcomed me into her home. I remember sitting there talking to her for hours and soon after she became like a mom to me. She reminded me of my own mother as she was small, dainty, and loved her bingo.
I recall the first Christmas I shared with her and she made her famous meat pies - 10 of them. Her and Jenn bragged all day about how amazing they were going to be. If I remember correctly they were so dry we had to cover them in ketchup and hot sauce. (I think she forgot an important ingredient). She made so many that we did not have enough room in the fridge or freezer for all of them so they ended up on the balcony of her apartment and there they stayed until we completely forgot about them. It is one of the happiest memories I have and will always cherish.
I went to Jean whenever I needed to talk and she gave me great advise. When I met Jenn she was our biggest support and now I have the greatest piece of my life-her daughter. Thank you Jean (mama). You are going to be missed a lot and I love you with all my heart. Our house is going to be empty without you but I know that you are no longer suffering and are at peace. I love you Mom
Always, your son in law Dave

I first met Jean at a Thanksgiving Dinner at my daughters house. She was such a tiny thing, that I thought she'd be picking at her food. Older people tend to do that. But man was I surprised. She wanted to try everything, and that she did...and she had dessert to boot. It was nice to see someone older with a good appetite. You will be missed Jean. May you rest in eternal peace.
