Obituary of Robert Douglas Babcock
Babcock, Robert Douglas 'Peter' (1925 - 2024)
Robert (Bob) Douglas 'Peter' Babcock, formally of Fort Erie, Ontario and residing in Moncton, New Brunswick died on July 5th, 2024 in his 99th. year.
Peter was predeceased by his loving wife Marjorie Elaine Babcock (Sayles), who died in 2006 after 54 years of marriage; his parents and his sister Duane. He was also predeceased by his dear friend and companion Carla Maria Caracristi in 2023. He was loved and respected by the entire Caracristi family.
Robert served in World War II, worked at the New York Central Railway and taught at Fort Erie Secondary School. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a Shriner and a fifty year Past Master of Palmer Lodge. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Robert will be laid to rest beside his wife Marjorie, at Greenwood Cemetery in Fort Erie ON, on September 17th 2024 at 11:00 am.
