We have so many happy memories of Rose. I remember, many years ago that we had decided to give my mother-in-law a special gift for Mother’s Day. She had a mail box that had been bashed around quite a bit and she needed a new one. Paul built the mail box and Rose offered to paint it for us. Carmel loved it so much that she refused to put it outside and proudly displayed it In her family room. When she passed away we received it back and now it sits outside among the flowers on my back deck. Rose was a lovely, kind and talented woman. We are so privileged to have known her. I hope the many happy memories of Rose will help you at this difficult time.
Love to all, Paul and Brenda D’Amico

At almost every Kiers family picnic or the weekend Kiers camp, I could always rely on Rose and Chuck to be there preparing the food for the BBQ spit, cooking for the huge Kiers family. Always a welcoming smile, and friendly words! Rose used to quote her Dad, saying family is the most important thing we have in life. Even though I have not seen her in a long while, I will always remember her loving smiles and wise words and her love of family.

Aunt Rose will always stay in our memories as a caring, smiling soul, her laughter is heard by those around us. Condolences to Uncle Chuck, Sandra, Kevin, Dieter, Michelle and Daylan. Last week she visited Norma her sister in law, she spoke with pride how her grandson said to her how lucky he was to have her as a grandmother. She knew how loved she was, and how much she love her grandson. Her family was her life. Will miss you, never forgotten❤️

My heart is broken. Rose was my best friend for 55 years. As adolescents we bonded like sisters. Together, we supported, cared and loved each other. However, she was the biggest pillar of strength.
When Rose invited me to her home for the first time, we were 14 years old. In her mother’s garden was a splendid array of flowers. One white rose bush caught my attention and from that day forward, I always loved white roses. Especially, because it reminded me of my dear friend Rose.
The vivid memory I have is watching her ride away on the back of my then fiancé’s motorcycle. She had a smile as wide as the Grand Canyon. I stood there laughing my head off as they drove away. Priceless! We shared our life experiences of family, always supporting each other along the way. Somehow I always felt so much better after being with Rose. I’m so sad but, my heart goes out to her family. Her memory will be eternal.
Love,
Dale Dobson & Family

It is with much sadness I say Good bye to my cousin and good friend Rose. She taught me how to quilt when coming for a visit to Alberta. Whenever I came to Ontario Rose would organize a gathering with our many cousins. I will miss her very much. She always had an open door for a visit and chat. So loved by many
My deepest condolences to her family.
Love cousin Rose Almdal
