Surrounded by his loving family Bill passed away on March 5th 2024 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital at the age of 93. Cherished husband of Mary Lou. Sadly missed by Mary Lou’s children Bob (Cathy) Rivet, Julie Ann Rivet and Scarlett (Adam) Rivet who Bill and Mary Lou raised as their own. He was a wonderful grandfather to Melissa, Adam (Dena), Tricia (Ryan), Lindsey (Trent), Donald, Portia and Daniel as well as a great grandfather to Christian, Easton and Quin. Predeceased by Mary Lou’s sons Donald and Brian Rivet. Bill is survived by his sister Marjorie Wormwood, niece Dianne, and 3 great nieces and 1 great great niece.
Bill worked for many years at the Woodbine Racetrack and more recently the Fort Erie YMCA. His extended family and friends at Windmill Point Church and Bethel Pentecostal Assembly played an important role in his life.

A service to celebrate Bill’s life will occur at the Windmill Point Church on Monday March 11, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. with refreshments to follow.
