I just heard of Mr Allison's passing. Although I had not seen him or his family since they moved from Blenheim, I have to say he influenced me and showed me that Officers could be Cool .... one memory I'll never forget was him jumping on Brian's minibike and having a chat with a neighbour who did not like us kids. Well I don't remember much being said but the point was proven. He was one of the reasons I became an Officer . My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time.

Dear Marilyn, I was saddened to hear about the passing of your husband. Although I didn't have the privilege of knowing George personally, after watching the memorial video, it was evident how much love and happiness you both shared .The memories captured in those moments are a testament to the beautiful life you built together. Please know that my thoughts are with you during this incredibly difficult time. With heartfelt sympathy. Alice xo

Dear Marlyn. Tom and I are so sorry for the loss of George. We are so happy to have gotten to know George although not long we certainly felt of the two of you as family. So many fun memories to remember. His beloved hunting lodge, fishing in his loved boat, oh how he loved that boat, playing card although i always lost to him, Tom and him and their wine, standing up for you at your beautiful wedding and then finding out that in a very strange way we are sort of related. He loved you so much. When i took him shopping last Christmas for your gift he said he was so happy you had this time together. We love you and will certainly miss that man of yours. Condolences to his family also.
