Obituary of Charlene Ann Smith
Smith: Charlene Ann (nee Leggett)
We are devastated at the sudden passing on December 30th, 2023 at home of a loving wife and adored mother.
Charlene was born in Niagara Falls January 4, 1966 the daughter of Ann and the Late Frederick Leggett.
Loving wife and best friend of David. Proud mother of Holly and Jacob. Predeceased by her infant son Mitchell.
Sadly missed by siblings Gary, Kevin (Marie) and Barry. Also survived by the members of the Smith family, Father-in-law Robert (Evelyn), sisters in law Kris (Keith) Huerd and Karla Smith-Barker (Dave Holmes). Predeceased by her mother-in-law Josephine as well as her extended family and many friends.
In addition to her dedication to family, Charlene was a committed member of the team at Fort Erie Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation.
Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 10 am until 1045 am on Saturday January 6th. A service to honour Charlene’s life will take place at 11 o’clock in the chapel. If so desired, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
