Obituary of Sharon Yvonne Eagles

SHARON YVONNE EAGLES
1954 – 2023
Sharon Eagles, 68, passed away at Hamilton General Hospital on November 28, 2023 from heart related problems. Sharon was beloved wife to James Eagles for 40 years. She was predeceased by her mother Mabel Forrest and by her father Orville Sault and nephew, Karl Connell, and John Vanderwyk, her brother-in-law and by her father-in-law, Stuart E. Eagles.

Sharon was precious mother to son Steven and daughter-in-law Tina, and stepmother to Brian, Stuart, Tara, Veronica and Michael. 

Dearly loved sister to Karen (Sault) Connell, Wendy (Sault) Lovegrove, Carolanne (Sault) Lovegrove (and brother-in-law to Bruce Lovegrove), Becky (Sault) Vanderwyk, Shelley (Sault) Graham (and brother-in-law to Craig Graham) and to brother Fred Sault and brother Kelly Sault and sister-in-law to Cheryl Sault. 

Loving grandmother to Lexie, Cheyenne, Jordan, Jericho, Mia and Stuey. She also leaves behind much loved nephews and nieces – Charity and husband Chad, Israel and wife Christina, Jodie, Joshua and wife Danielle, Arrow and wife Stephanie, Lance, Casey and wife Tamara, Justin and wife Samantha, and Jason, Lindsey, Chad, Heidi, Mariah, David, Aleesha, and a great many other relatives and close friends. 

When it came to relatives Sharon loved so much her mother in law Anne Eagles, brother in law Mark (Jocelyn) Eagles and sister in law Patricia Eagles as well as Nadia and her boys, Aunt Elizabeth and Aunt Shirley as well as their families. and on Sharon’s Mother's side, Aunts Betty, Marion and Stella and Uncle Bill and on her Father’s side there is Aunt Sandra and Aunt Donna and all their extended families.

Sharon was born to Mabel and Orville Sault in Tuscarora Twp, Ontario and grew up on the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and then spent later time living in Detroit, Michigan, Buffalo, NY and Dunnville, Ontario before moving to Fort Erie, Ontario where she met her husband James in the House of Prayer church and married in 1983. 

Sharon loved family and friends events and was always there to share her labour of love. She volunteered in many ways to help her husband’s charity - Intercede International and her church All Nations Fellowship of which her husband pastored and she ministered in many roles as womens leader, Elder and Sunday School teacher and will be remembered for her integrity, her strong faith in her Lord Jesus and for her kindness and her great love for her church, her family and friends. Sharon will be very deeply missed but we know she is waiting for us in Heaven.

Benner Funeral Services, Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements.

Visitation will be held at Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave, Fort Erie, on Monday December 4th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday December 5th at 1pm in the funeral home chapel. The service will also be available on the Benner Funeral Home Facebook page.
