Surrounded by love and her family, Lorraine passed away on Saturday October 21, 2023, at the age of 99.  Reunited with her husband of over 76 years Elmer (July 2023)

Devoted mother of Sandra (Wayne) Kozar, John Cook, Tim (Tracie), Terry (Nancy) and Ted (Maureen).  Dedicated grandmother of 11 and loved by all her great grandchildren.  Predeceased by a daughter in law Judy as well siblings Murray Minor, Clifford “Bus” Minor, Margie Mann, Norma McIntee, Betty Leslie and Wilma Cole.

While Lorraine took care of many patrons at Green Acres for years, her love of family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren was the source of her greatest joy.  We are blessed with many handmade knitted and crocheted items and the memories of wonderful treats made in the kitchen.

To Sarah and the exceptional staff of Garrison Place.  Words cannot express how much peace we had knowing that Mom was in your loving compassionate and professional care.   

Benner Funeral Services, entrusted with arrangements.  The family will receive friends on Thursday October 26th from 5-8 pm.  Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel on Friday morning at 11 o’clock.  Those that wish to contribute in memory of Lorraine, please consider the Fort Erie Conservation Club (Ott Rd. Stevensville) in lieu of flowers.
