Anderson : Wilson William “Bill”
April 18, 1944 – August 12, 2023
From his birthplace in the town of Burgeo Newfoundland to his retirement as a Plant Supervisor at General Abrasives, Bill’s kindness, and love will be remembered by all that were lucky enough to know him.
He is resting in paradise alongside his loving wife Ann. He will forever be in the hearts of daughters Kathy Anderson and Julie Gueuther. Sadly missed by his mother Teresa Davey and brother Morris Anderson. Remembered with smiles by Ann’s children Alex McDougal and Carolyn Wells. Also survived by a large extended family that includes his grandchildren, great grandchildren nieces and nephews.
Bill’s involvement in the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 369 Chippawa was much more to him than just a member. He worked as a custodian and treated everyone there like his family and they did the same to him. We will honour Bill at the Legion (3860 Legion St. Niagara Falls) on September 7th at 4 pm. Friends and family are invited to stay after the service for a time of celebration and remembrance.
Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with funeral arrangements. A private interment will take place at the Trinity Anglican Churchyard.
