When I was 14 I joined 337 Sqn as an air cadet and met Nick for the first time. He was the squadron Adjutant or Administration Officer. He also was an escort on one of the 2 week summer camps at Trenton I attended. He was always a gentleman and a great role model for the cadets. Dear Shirley and family, So sorry to hear of Nick's passing. He was among the first neighbours to welcome Ron to Canada almost 50 years ago. Treasure all your memories and know that so many hold Nick in high regard for the gentleman he was.

Dear Shirley and family. I am sadden to learn about Nick's passing. He was a friend and neighbour of my Mother's. In the summer he would raise a green flag and that would mean Mom should come over and enjoy a swim. Thank you both for all your kindnesses and friendship throughout the years. Love Theresa McKellar.

Nick was definitely one of the finest men I ever knew. Beginning many years ago(60+)during my time as an Air Cadet and continuing throughout life, Nick was always there to help. He was a strong leader who had a friendly words and smile always. RIP NICK you will be missed by all who knew you!
