Obituary of Jean Zimmerman

ZIMMERMAN, Jean

Zimmerman, Jean Elizabeth born October 19, 1931 passed away peacefully at Greater Niagara Hospital on December 31, 2022 at the age of 91.

Jean was a life-long resident of Fort Erie.

Predeceased by her siblings Raymond Zimmerman (Arlene Shantz), Milford Zimmerman (Mollie Mewha), Florence Zimmerman, Neva Plato (William) and nephew Bill Zimmerman.

Survived by her nieces and nephews, Charlotte (Keith) Bailey, Carol Plato, Cathy Plato (Roger Schaffer), Barbara Parrigin, Bev Arbour, Lynn (Judy) Zimmerman,

Barry (Gloria) Zimmerman. As well as generations of great nieces and nephews.

Jean worked for Horton CBI for 35 years. Jean was an avid golfer winning several trophies over the years.

She had a chance to travel and loved gardening with her friend Bonnie.

Jean enjoyed being with family and numerous friends.

She had a great neighbour for over 40 years Linda. She also enjoyed Pilates and of course lunch with the girls afterwards.

Jean attended Grace United Brethren Church.

Per Jean's request there will be no visitation or service. Interment will take place in the spring.

Donations in memory of Jean may be made to Grace United Brethren Church rebuild fund.
