. Thanks for always being you, setting me straight , letting me know what you thought, remembering to always forget, and especially always being there for me when I needed it the most. I wish I picked up the phone a bit more and stayed for “one more” a few more times. I will fondly share quite a few tales to Colby and Caleigh about Grandpa. Your memories will live on. Love you pops.

I met George in 1969 when my brother Anthony brought him to stay at our house in Dublin on an overnight on his way to Drogheda for Christmas. Our special friendship lasted for 53 years. He was special. Gone but never forgotten. Meet you on the otherside.

My lovely funny uncle George who once brought a horse into the kitchen of my Grandmother Rose House. I thought him so cool with his adventures to UK and Canada. He was very kind and always brought me beautiful gifts as a child. I loved the photos he shared of his children a d oh my God the first time he told me about the snow and native people of Canada I was enthralled. I have a smile when I think of you uncle George rest your head in the heavenly clouds ⛅

I met George (my grand-uncle by way of his brother Don) only once to memory on one of his trips home to Drogheda when I was very young. He was fondly spoken of by my grandfather Don who shared a love of horses. To his memory and family in Canada my deepest condolences. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam. Don
