Mom passed away peacefully on March 12, 2022, with her loving family by her side at the Maple Park Lodge in Fort Erie just two weeks short of her 95th birthday. Audrey was born March 27, 1927, the eldest daughter of the late Edwin & Hazel Wintemute.
She is reunited with her husband Willard, who she spent 70 years of marriage with until his passing in 2014.
Cherished mother of Sally (Denzil) Deschamps, Willard Jr. (Debee), Rick (Heather) and Jeff (Patti). Proud Nana to Ron, Rob, Paul, Steve, Leanne, Wes and Andria her 10 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Sadly, missed by sisters June Shisler and Grace Peterson and her extended family including her nieces & nephews.
Predeceased by her son Larry, grandsons David Deschamps and Greg Klauck and brother Don Wintemute.
Audrey loved to have family gatherings and was famous for her homemade pies. In later years, Audrey and her husband Willard enjoyed many travels across Canada and the USA.
Her family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Maple Park Lodge and Dr. Scher for the dignified care provided to Mom.
