Valerie passed away unexpectedly on November 4th, 2021 at the age of 58. Loving mother of Ryan (Sierra), Shawn and Kara (Brandon) Moore. Adored grandmother of Mason. Sadly missed by her significant other Rory “Pudge” Barber and his daughters Rylee and Rykelle. Cherished sister of Elaine (Leo) Millar and survived by many wonderful friends, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John and Rosemary.
Valerie was a devoted mother who never missed a hockey or soccer games and a proud gramma to Mason. Mason and her loved camping out, bike rides, snowmobiling and sleepovers. They would sit and watch all of Mason’s favourite shows. It would be easy to go on forever about the things they did together, but we know those were by far the favourite things to do with Gramma.
Mom was the backbone of our family and our biggest supporter. Anytime, any day, she was there. Her hugs and kisses will be forever cherished and deeply missed.
Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Thursday November 11th from 6-8 pm. A funeral will be held in the funeral home on Friday morning at 11. Livestream available on Facebook. Covid 19 protocols require masks and social distancing. If so desired, donations to the Fort Erie Minor Hockey Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
