Sherwood, John W.
Born in Stratford, Ontario September 17, 1940, John passed away in St. Catharines on April 30th, 2021. Beloved husband of Margaret for 58 years. Loving father of Steven (Irene), Paul (Corri) and Brian (The late Kim). Proud grandfather to Emily (Mike) Scott, Adam, Cameron and Bridgette-Ann. Sadly missed by his sister Mary Christine (Sam) Jones, sisters in law Mary Kay (Wilf) Butler and Audrey Weiss. John was employed with the Bank of Montreal BMO for many years and then with Willson International for 31 years. Family first, but community was important, and he gave back in many ways including his time as the president of the Jaycees, Minor Baseball and the Rotary Club who honoured him with a Paul Harris Fellow award.
