Obituary of William Edgar Spencer

William (Bill) Edgar Spencer - On December 14th, 2020 in his 82nd year, far sooner than his time, Bill passed peacefully surrounded by his family. He was the husband every man should be, the father every child should have, the best Kappy to his grandchildren who adored him, and a friend to all. Bill proudly shared many stories of his experiences while he was serving in the Canadian Armed Forces in Canada and Germany from 1958 to 1974. Many thanks to the supportive staff at the Greater Niagara General Hospital for ensuring Bill's comfort until the end. Predeceased by his wife LeeAnn and stepson Kevin, loving father to Lene Kofod Andreasen (Niels) and Leslie McNicoll (Dany), brother to Patricia Cannon (Maurice (deceased)) and Dennis Spencer (Joan). Beloved Kappy to Jonas, Nete, Sara, Mathew, and Maxim. Loving uncle and grand-uncle to his nephew David (Robyn) and his children with Nancy Cannon, Sean (Amy) and Taylor; his niece Dawn (Tim) and their children Ryan (Alexandria) and Kasey; his nephew Michael (Vanessa) and their children Riley and Erynn; his nephew James (Shay), and their children Joaquin and Jamieson; and his niece Christine (Luke). Remembered fondly by the Black Creek Community in Stevensville, Ontario. Benner Funeral Services entrusted with arrangement.
