I used to work for Edna Mae at The ARO Corporation. I found this obituary by randomly performing a search on her name because I was just thinking about her and wondering how she might be doing, so I am saddened to hear this. I was still in college and new to the Corporate world when hired by ARO. Ms. Johnston was an angel on my shoulder, a protector and she looked out for me. She often referred to herself as my Den Mother. She taught me a lot and treated me not only like an apprentice, but a son as well. Without her I would not be where I am today. God bless her.

Aunt Mae was the serious aunt when Becky and I were little. Then we discovered football and the Buffalo Bills. Then we went to some games with Aunt Mae and were introduced to Brandy Alexander's, to warm us up, and tailgating. We had a lot of fun in that parking lot with our Aunt. I will remember my trip to New York City with her when I turned 18, her coming up to visit me in Guelph in the spring when the kids were little and helping me wash my windows and how our cat Newt loved to sit behind her head on the chair. Aunt Mae did not like cats. We started talking on the phone more this year and it was nice reconnecting with her. She was well loved and will be missed. Just have to say Go Bills! We love you Aunt Mae. Jennifer, Richard, Matthew and Anna
