Papa, you were always the rock of the family!
I got my love of the farm and all the animals from you. You always let me run with my crazy ideas including letting me try to tame one of the calves, which didn’t last long.... it kicked me you laughed and I decided it was best to leave him in the field.... I always thought I knew better and you would just shake your head and leave me to it. You taught me how to drive a tractor... tried to teach me how to bail hay... and quickly realized I was completely uncoordinated for that!
You were always so welcoming to everyone at the farm and gave so many family and friends wonderful farm experiences that will be forever remembered. You were papa to so many more people outside of the family and will be missed by so many.
I know you will be watching over all of us and will be forever in our hearts!
I love you so much Papa

Keith was always available to help me with my gas well. I was new at using a well and the dynamics of it. Keith would come to my place and he would always have a simple solution. At first, I was nervous as to the reliability and sustainability of the well. Quietly, Keith turned and looked at me and said " it will be here long after you are gone, Jack". Enough said. And, yearly, Keith would come to keep an eye on it. Such a calming, reassuring man. Thank you very much, Keith.

You and mom raised four kids. You taught us respect, kindness, to work hard and most of all, love.
You always let us have our many, many pets. Our pet pidgeon Charlie, my pet cow Maggie, Our bunnies, guinea pigs, ponies, horses, ducks, turtles, pigs and even a raccoon at one time.
Every Saturday night in the summer, all four of us kids would have our baths, put our pajamas on and you took us to the dairy queen.
Seeing you light up when you saw your grandchildren and great grandchildren is unforgettable. They were your pride and joy. Your smile said it all.
We have so many wonderful memories of you that we will cherish forever.
Thank you for being my dad. I love you.

I will always remember my Uncle Keith as a quiet, comforting, gentleman. While he was a man of few words he had a love for children and their feelings that filled the hearts of many. Growing up, Cheryl was my best friend and as much as I wanted to spend as much time with her as I could, I was not a child that was accustomed to sleepovers. While mothers would most often know these kids would fall asleep eventually, Uncle Keith was the first one to offer to drive me halfway to meet my dad to pick me up and drive me home to Wainfleet where I felt more secure with my parents. Our meeting spot was the Dairy Queen in port Colborne, however, Cheryl and I could not meet my parents without an ice cream. In today’s society, I’m sure most parents would be bothered by this inconvenience, but not my Uncle Keith. He took it in stride and drove me and Cheryl there no matter what time of night so that I could be with my parents and in my comfort zone. I will always remember him as a gentle loving man that cared for kids I. His own special way and I’m so thankful that I had the opportunity to have him as a role model in my life!❤️

Dad was a great dad and father-in-law. He loved having his family around, especially his great grandchildren. He enjoyed taking them for rides on the tractor. You were a wonderful husband and dad. We love you and will miss you. RIP
